Alhad scores six goals

K.A. Alhad fired in six goals as Bluemount Sporting Club trounced Anglo-Indian Club 8-0 in the Ernakulam District sub-junior hockey league at the Maharaja's Stadium here on Wednesday.
Still, it was a day of mixed fortunes for Bluemount for the side lost 0-1 to Vidyodaya in another encounter. In the junior league, P.J.Sadiq scored three goals as Wanderers drubbed Milan Sporting Club 6-0.
The results: Juniors: Wanderers 6 (P.J. Sadiq 3, Jimmy James, Jimil Ashraf, K.V. Vipin) bt Milan SC 0. Sub-juniors: Bluemount SC 8 (K.A. Alhad 6, Firoz Iqbal, M.S. Shanavas) bt Anglo-India Club 0; Vidyodaya 1 (A.S. Sunil) bt Bluemount 0.
