Deepak, Nithin sparkle

KOCHI, OCT. 13. Kerala wicketkeeper C.M. Deepak (53) and Nithin (three for 8) helped Swantons CC (Ernakulam) down Young Challengers CC (North Parur) by 47 runs and enter the first phase semifinals of the 54th Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Wednesday.

The scores: Swantons 182 for eight in 35 overs (C.M. Deepak 53, Robert Fernandes 44) bt Young Challengers 135 in 31.4 overs.
