In the context of three recent crimes — the attack on a group of nuns in a tribal colony in Kozhikode district, the mysterious fire in a church in Thiruvananthapuram city and the sex scandal reported from Kottayam district — all eyes are on the ongoing investigations by the Kerala Police. The police have already made headway in nabbing several of the suspects in these cases. Will the force live up to its reputation as one of the best police forces in the country and stem the tide of crime? How do you think the hands of the police could be strengthened to do this?
