THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT. 13. Five persons were killed in three separate accidents in the rural district on Wednesday. Two employees of the Sarkara Devi temple were killed when the motorbike on which they were travelling collided with a KSRTC Fast Passenger bus at Thonackal in Mangalapuram police station limits. Sukumaran Nair, 40, of Pappanamcode died on the spot while his colleague, Surendrakumar of Poojappura succumbed to his injuries at the Medical College Hospital. In another accident at Nagaroor in Attingal at 6.15 p.m., two persons were killed when the motorbike on which they were travelling collided with a KSRTC bus. The deceased were identified as Suku and Shajahan. A 65-year-old man, Izzaikalm, who was injured when his moped collided with a KSRTC bus at Karakkonam at 4.15 p.m., died while under treatment at the Medical College Hospital.
