A lesson

Sir, — The three recent Presidential debates in Florida, Missouri and Arizona were remarkable. Both George W. Bush and John Kerry talked about almost all key issues concerning the United States. There were no frayed tempers, no acrimonious personal attacks. A lesson, perhaps, for our politicians?
