Tension at Kadhinamkulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT. 14 . A tense situation prevailed in the communally sensitive coastal area of Kadhinamkulam in the outskirts of the city following a dispute over a money transaction between two groups of people belonging to different communities.

The standoff occurred when one group demanded that a member of the opposing group pay up the money he had taken as loan. A police team led by the Circle Inspector (Kazhakuttam), P. Reghu, rushed to the spot to diffuse the situation.
