Rohit bowls Bright Club to victory

NEW DELHI, OCT. 14. Rohit Dilwari's six for 54 helped Bright Club beat Pelican by 18 runs in a low-scoring match to move into the quarterfinals of the DDCA (under-17) cricket tournament here.

The scores: Lal Bahadur Shastri Club 123 for nine in 40 overs lost to Young Cricketers 126 for four in 37 overs.

Gemini Club 195 for nine in 50 overs (Sahil Kher 41, Sachin Sarashwat 41, Anshul Goel six for 58) beat K.G. Colts 168 in 44.4 overs (Jagrit Anand 50, Harsh Kumar six for 37).

Bright Club 172 for nine in 50 overs (Ankit Lamba 47, Karan Grover 41 n.o., Harpreet Singh four for 52) beat Pelican 154 in 41.2 overs (Rohit Dilwari six for 54).
