HYDERABAD, OCT. 14. Here is a chance for housewives in particular and people in general to learn a few recipes from kitchens across the world. The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition at Vidyanagar is throwing open its doors on October 16 to demonstrate various cuisines and showcase career opportunities in the hospitality sector. K.A. Madhva, principal of the institute, said these initiatives were part of the celebrations to mark the International Chefs' Day, falling on October 20. He said people could come and see the preparations and taste the breads around the world, bakery items, fruit and vegetable carvings, Chinese items, pizaas, cocktails, desserts and also gain some knowledge about the cuisines from teachers and students.
