Mainly clear sky forecast
On Thursday, Safdarjung recorded a maximum temperature of 28 and a minimum temperature of 17.5 degree Celsius respectively, while Palam recorded a maximum temperature of 26.9 and minimum temperature of 17.8 degree Celsius respectively. The maximum relative humidity at Safdarjung stood at 90 per cent and the minimum 45 per cent. Palam recorded a maximum humidity of 90 per cent and a minimum of 49 per cent.
Theft charge
According to the police, they recently received complaints from train passengers alleging that their belongings had been stolen. Subsequently, the police arrested Shamsuddin, Riyazuddin, Rihan and Waseem, from whom they recovered some stolen articles. During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in some of the cases and disclosed that they worked for a criminal named Asraf. The police said the four were previously involved in cases registered at Shakarpur police station in East Delhi.
Alleged graft
The Anti-Corruption Branch received a complaint from Om Prakash, a resident of Khichripur village, alleging that B.S. Bhati, a lower divisional clerk, was demanding Rs. 200 for a voter certificate. Acting on the complaint, the Anti-Corruption sleuths laid a trap and arrested him while he was accepting the bribe. Further investigations are on.
