SIRSI, OCT. 15. To give new light to people suffering from blindness is commendable work, the MLA, Vivekanand Vaidya, who was the chief guest at the International Sight Day celebrations in Sirsi on Thursday, has said. Another chief guest, the MLA, Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, spoke. The Marikamba Temple Trustee President, V.G. Patgar, Chandrashekar and K.V. Shivaram, doctors, spoke. V.U. Patgar, Virabadrappa Gudachi Haveri, Girijamma Odeyar Tilavalli, Sister Roza Dias Hangal, P. Shantavirayya Shikaripur, V.S. Bhat of BAIF, V.R. Bhat Ankola, Sunilkumar Karwar and Manjunath Gowda were felicitated.
