RAJAHMUNDRY, OCT. 15 . Tension prevailed at a private hospital in the city on Friday following the death of the wife of a municipal employee during medical treatment on Thursday night. Police rushed to the hospital when municipal employees staged a dharna there alleging that the woman, Radha (30), had died of negligence by doctors. Mother of two, Radha was admitted in the hospital on Thursday for medical termination of pregnancy. The hospital spokesman told reporters that the victim and her husband wanted the MTP to be conducted immediately and did not heed the doctors' advice to have it done on Friday. He said her pulse dropped drastically during the procedure and the doctors tried to revive her through cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Pointing out that there was no negligence on the part of the hospital as seven senior doctors had attended on her, the spokesman said that Radha had probably died of drug reaction. This was explained to the kin of the victim and they understood the situation very well, he said
