By Our Special Correspondent CHENNAI, OCT. 15. There will be no discrimination in distribution of application forms for enrolment to the Congress, said the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president, G.K.Vasan, here today. The pradesh committee fixed a target of one lakh members from each of the 54 "districts" (as demarcated by the party) in the State. The workers' aim should be to exceed the target, he said inaugurating a membership campaign in North Chennai. Membership forms had been dispatched to 35 districts and the remaining districts would get the forms soon. This was not a mere membership campaign but a mission to make the party strong in the State with a view to bring back Kamaraj rule. Therefore, workers should work unitedly to achieve the mission, he said. Senior party leader and MLA, S.G.Vinayagamurthi, appealed to workers to support Mr.Vasan in his endeavour to bring back Congress rule in the State. The North Chennai District Congress president, R.Mano, who received application forms from Mr.Vasan, said the district would surpass its target.
