Assisi posts win

KOCHI, OCT. 15. Assisi `B' defeated IGM (Elamakkara) 3-0 and entered the semifinals in the Assisi Cup inter-school football tournament.

The results (quarterfinals): Assisi Vidyaniketan `B' (Chembumukku) bt IGM (Elamakkara) 3-0; Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya bt Bhavan's (Elamakkara) 2-0; Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya (Kakkanad) bt Vidyodaya (Thevakkal) 4-2 (tie-breaker); Naval Public School (Willingdon Island) bt Assisi Vidyaniketan `A' 3-0.
