DINDIGUL, OCT.15. R. Ashwin's five for 21 helped S.S.N. College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai (Zone III) defeat Adhyaman College of Engineering, Hosur (Zone VI) and enter the final of the Anna University inter-zonal cricket tournament here on Friday.

The scores (Semifinal):

S.S.N. College of Engg. Chennai (Zone III) 147 for seven in 20 overs bt Adhyaman College of Engg. Hosur (Zone VI) 120 for nine in 20 overs (R.Ashwin five for 24).

Quarterfinals: Sri Venkateswara College of Engg. Sriperumpudur (Zone II) 117 for seven in 20 overs (Aniruth 51 n.o) bt Govt. College of Engg. Tirunelveli (Zone X) 98 for six in 20 overs; Syed Ammal Engg. College, Ramanathapuram (Zone IX) 115 for nine in 25 overs (M.Subanand 69, Karthik six for 25) bt J.J.Engg. College, Tiruchi (Zone VIII) 113 in 24.2 overs; S.S.N. College of Engg. 120 for nine in 25 overs (Abishek 41) bt Crescent Engg. College, Chennai Zone IV) 119 for eight in 25 overs.
