Ayaz, Ishaq excel

HYDERABAD, OCT. 15. Ayaz Sheikh and Sheikh Ishaq won the Gold Fleet Race No.1 in the second Director General of Artillery sailing championship at Hussain Sagar Lake here today.

In the Silver Fleet Race No.1, K. Yakoob and K.K. Kiran Kumar stole the show.

The results (Final placings):

Gold Fleet: 1. Ayaz Sheikh & Sheikh Ishaq, 2. P.P. Muthu & Antony Xavier, 3. Yaduraj Lad & P.V.S. Raju.

Silver Fleet No.1: 1. K. Yakoob & K.K. Kiran Kumar, 2. Kaushal Kumar & S. Noble, 3. Mithu Nahak & Jaison Joseph.
