Advani, Alok in final

BANGALORE, OCT. 15. Devendra Joshi almost capitalised on Pankaj Advani's impetuousness before the youngster pulled off a come from behind victory to storm into the final of the snooker event in the inaugural PSPB all-India inter-unit tournament at the KSBA hall here this evening.

ONGC's Pankaj won 39-72, 58-68, 66-21, 70-0, 58-85, 62-42, 72-65, 75-0 in the best-of-seven frames semifinal over the Mumbaikar, from BPCL.

In contrast Alok Kumar of ONGC the reigning National champion made short work of Delhi's Manan Chandra with a 81-50, 62-43, 78-26, 65-4672-24 in the other semifinal.

Pankaj plays Joshi in the billiards final in the morning and then takes on Alok in the snooker title clash in the afternoon on the morrow.
