Crescent sighted

HYDERABAD, OCT. 15. The crescent for the month of Ramzan was sighted and Saturday would be the first Ramzan day in accordance with the lunar Islamic calendar, according to Moulana S.M. Qubool Badsha Qaadri Shatari, secretary, Royyat Hilal Committee.

The Moulana said that though the crescent was not visible in Hyderabad due to clouds, it was clearly visible in surrounding districts.
