Jimenez ousts Langer
VIRGINIA WATER,

Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez defeated Bernhard Langer of Germany 2 and 1 in the quarterfinals of the World Match Play Championship at Wentworth.
Jimenez will next play Lee Westwood, who defeated Retief Goosen 2 and 1.
Earlier on Friday, Ernie Els scored tight victories over Scott Drummond and Angel Cabrera on Friday to stay on course for a record sixth title.
The results (quarterfinals): Ernie Els bt Angel Cabrera 1-up; Padraig Harrington bt Thomas Levet 1-up; Lee Westwood bt Retief Goosen 2 and 1; Miguel Angel Jimenez bt Bernhard Langer 2 and 1.
