Partly cloudy

CHENNAI, OCT. 16. The sky will be partly cloudy on Sunday and there is a possibility of light showers in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be 34 and 25 degree Celsius. On Saturday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 32.7 degree Celsius and a minimum of 25.2. Rainfall of 5.3 mm was received. Meenambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 31.9 degree Celsius and a minimum of 25.5. It received 0.2 mm of rainfall till 8.30 p.m. Humidity was 86 per cent in both areas.

Power cut

Power Supply will be suspended in parts of Royapuram, Pammal, Virugambakkam, Saligramam and nearby areas on Monday.

Programme

An awareness programme on osteoporosis will be held between 2.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital & Research Institute.
