Rain likely
On Saturday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 18.9 degrees Celsius. It received a "trace" of rainfall. The relative humidity was 77 per cent. At the airport, the maximum temperature was 26.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 18.8 degrees Celsius. It received 0.7 mm of rainfall. The relative humidity was 76 per cent.
Award
Geetha Basavaraj, Principal of JSS Public School, Banashankari 2nd Stage, has received the "CBSE Award for Teacher of the Year." She was given the award in recognition of her contribution in the field of secondary education. The award was presented to Ms. Basavaraj in New Delhi by the Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Arjun Singh, recently. It includes a certificate of commendation and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
