BANGALORE, OCT. 16. The City Police Commissioner, S. Mariswamy, has banned the sale of alcohol in Peenya, Tilak Nagar, Adugodi, Siddapura, Wilson Garden, Airport, Jeevan Bima Nagar and Mahadevapura police station limits on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m, according to a press release issued here today. The order had been issued in view of the elections on that day in 73rd ward in Airport, 62nd ward in Homegowdanagar of the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, 10th ward in Peenya-Dasarahalli and 13th ward of Mahadevapura, the press release added.
