KOCHI, OCT. 16. The Ernakulam Press Club here today condemned the attack on Mangalam daily at Kottayam. The office of the Malayalam newspaper had come under attack by a group of unidentified men early this morning. A meeting of journalists held at the Press Club demanded that the Government take exemplary action to bring the culprits to book. S. Harikrishnan, secretary of the Press Club, presided over the meeting. N. Padmanabhan (Madhyamam), Sugathan P. Balan (Madhyamam), Raju Paul (Mangalam), Abdullah Mattanchery (Madhyamam) and V. Rejikumar (Janmabhoomi) were among those who spoke.
