Vijayawada
By Our Staff Reporter
VIJAYAWADA, OCT. 16. "We have a very sensible section of viewers which responds overwhelmingly whenever realistic and meaningful films are made," said Mohankrishna, the upcoming Telugu film director who has created ripples with his debut venture, `Grahanam'. A digital film based on Doshagunam, a short story by the famous Telugu writer, Gudipati Venkata Chalam, the film is a brilliant piece depicting how `misinformation' and superstition can play havoc with innocent lives. Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, the young director said he was keen on churning out more artistic and intelligent stuff. "I am not here to titillate public for monetary gains but want to cater to their aesthetic sense," he said. Mohankrishna is planning to team up with Dega Deva Kumar, producer for the Telugu film `Ammayi Bagundi', for his next untitled venture.
