2,30,334 candidates appear for EdCET

HYDERABAD, OCT. 17. A total of 2,30,334 candidates appeared for the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) held on Sunday. The number of candidates registered for the test was 2,38,581.

According to E.R. Appa Rao, Convenor, Ed.CET, a case of malpractice was booked in Vizianagaram district. There were no complaints from candidates anywhere.

He said the key would be released on October 20 and candidates can send their objections within a week.

The final key would be released after taking objections into consideration. For the first time, candidates were allowed to take the question paper after writing the examination.
