CHENNAI, OCT. 17. A quarrel between two inmates of the Institute of Mental Health in Kilpauk led to the death of one yesterday. The police said Senthil and Rajendran, both in their 20s, entered into a fight. Rajendran fell unconscious after Senthil hit and pushed him down. Later, he was taken to the Government General Hospital where he died today morning.
Killed in accidents
A 35-year-old autorickshaw driver was killed after he was run over by a Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus at Anna Nagar last night. The police said Velu was thrown off after the bus hit his vehicle. On Mount Poonamallee Road, a moped rider died after his vehicle collided with a water tanker yesterday. Benjamin Pushparaj was knocked down by the tanker proceeding to the city from Poonamallee.
