TISB lifts trophy

UDHAGAMANDALAM, OCT. 18. After what was a fight to the finish, The International School Bangalore (TISB) won the Maris Trophy basketball tournament defeating Lawrence School 59-52 in the final encounter.

TISB boys dominated the early proceedings. However, Lawrence caught up to make it 41-all in the second half. The battle gained fever pitch after that with each team reaching the ring with ease to score points.

But the final few minutes saw TISB pulling away once again.
