MYSORE, OCT. 18. The second-day of the three-day Dasara Games 2004 saw two records take a tumble in the men's and women's shot put event at the Chamundivihar stadium here on Monday. In the men's section Santosh's 14.41m erased Sathyanaraya's record of 13.78m set in 1992. Reena heaved the shot put to a distance of 12.79m erasing the old mark of Reetha Rai's 12.56m set in 1990. Bangalore City increased its tally of gold to 12 with seven gold on the second-day in athletics, followed by Mysore and Bangalore Rural with a gold each.
