Emphatic win for Vignan's School
HYDERABAD,
OCT.18.
Vignan's School defeated Atomic Energy Central School (Mumbai) 6-2 in the inaugural under-14 category match of the CBSE South Zone hockey tournament, which began at Vignan's Prabodhananda Prashanti Niketan grounds here on Monday.
Captain and centre-forward E. Vivek and Peter Brahmachari struck thrice times each for the winner.
In another match, Sainik School scored a comfortable 5-0 win with winger Abhishek scoring all of them.
In the girls under-14 section, Vignan's PNN blanked Vidya Mandir High School (Cuddapah) 7-0 with Ankita Patel scoring five and Pummy Jain and Sushma Thounaojam one each.
