NEW DELHI, OCT. 17. Captain's Club defeated Prithvi Nath Club 77-63 in the men's final of the 43rd Royal Club basketball tournament at the Prithvi Nath Stadium in Ajmal Khan Park, Karol Bagh, here. Birender of the Captain's Club was adjudged the `best player' in the men's section. The award in the boys and girls sections went to Surinder of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya and Amrita Singh of Modern School, Barakhamba Road, respectively. The results (finals): Men: Captain's Club 77 (Bhupesh 25, Satvinder 17) bt Prithvi Nath Club 63 (Neeraj 20, Ravinder 14). Boys: Sarvodaya Vidyalaya 72 (Vikas 27, Surinder 13) bt Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, 62 (Vinod 29, Sanjay 16). Girls: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 46 (Amrita Singh 25) bt Oxford School, Vikaspuri, 28 (Silky 12).
