Easy win for KRL
KOCHI,

Kochi Refineries Limited opened its campaign with a convincing 25-8, 25-8, 25-9 victory over SC (Changampuzha Nagar) in the ninth Pappan memorial Ernakulam District senior volleyball championship at the Pappan Stadium, Varapuzha, on Monday evening.
Earlier, Mas (Moothakunnam) scored a comfortable 3-0 victory over St. George's (Vazhakulam).
Sunday's results: Men's first round: Sacred Heart College, Thevara bt FACT SA, Udyogamandal 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.
Women's quarterfinal: YWCA, Ernakulam bt Rainbow, Pallamthuruth 25-13, 25-8, 25-7.
