Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumpudur, emerged overall champion in the Anna University inter-zone cricket tournament here on Tuesday.
The scores (final): Sri Venkateswara 132 for seven in 25 overs bt Zone III Combined Team 14 for four in 4.3 overs. Rain stopped play. Sri Venkateswara won by spin of coin.
Third place play-off: Zone IV Combined Team 95 in 17.3 overs lost to SSN College of Engg, Chennai 97 for four in 16.4 overs (Prasanna 49).
