HYDERABAD, OCT. 19. Warangal girls defeated Adilabad 5-1 in the preliminary round of the Telengana sub-junior kho kho championship at Health League Grounds here.

The results: Girls: Warangal bt Adilabad 5-1; Nizamabad bt Khammam 8-2; Nalgonda bt Ranga Reddy 8-1; Karimnagar bt Mahaboobnagar 10-2.

Boys: Warangal bt Nalgonda 15-7; Karimnagar bt Khammam 16-4; Adilabad bt Nizamabad 10-6.
