VISAKHAPATNAM, OCT. 19. The national council meet and the State convention of the Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF) will be held here on November 6 and 7. The ISCUF presidium chairman and the former Supreme Court judge, V.R. Krishna Iyer, the former Jammu and Kashmir High Court Chief Justice, S.S. Kang, the ex-chairman of the Law Commission, B.P. Jeevan Reddy, and the World Peace Council honorary president, Romesh Chandra, will attend. According to the ISCUF State chairman, K. Venkateswarlu, the convention is being held at a time when the global situation needed international and cultural cooperation and a dialogue for peace and development and to address to the problems of international terrorism, violence and religious fundamentalism. As part of the convention, a seminar would be conducted on November 7.
