HYDERABAD, OCT. 19. The Hyderabad district Collector, Arvind Kumar, on Tuesday announced an incentive of Rs. 1 lakh for those Government schools which achieved more than 90 per cent results in SSC during the academic year. Those schools having more than 20 students in Class X will only be considered for the incentive. The amount will be utilised for the development of the school. Addressing the mandal-wise Headmasters meeting held at the Collectorate today, Mr. Arvind Kumar asked them to make concerted efforts to improve pass percentage in SSC exam. He also asked the Headmasters to fill the proforma to be sent to all schools, with regard to the prevailing conditions and requirement so as to redress all major problems. The Collector further directed the District Education Officer to issue necessary instructions to all Headmasters against sending any Class X teachers on deputation.
