HYDERABAD, OCT.19. About 700 petitions on a variety of problems, ranging from domestic violence to bank frauds, were received by CPI (Maoist) and CPI (ML) Janashakti leaders at the Guthikonda Bilam public meeting and during their stay at the Manjeera guest house here. Disclosing this at a news conference here on Tuesday, the CPI (Maoist) leader, Sudhakar, said the majority of 150 petitions pertained to land problems, 81- Dalit, minorities and social problems, 70-workers, 45-employees, 35-women and domestic violence, 25 -economic problems 20-corruption and certain other categories. He said the submission of the petitions demonstrated the crisis in the existing system. The petitions would be handed over to the Government to find solutions.
