MUMBAI, OCT. 20. The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) medical advisor, Dr. Anant Joshi, and the Indian team's physiotherapist, Andrew Leipus, have been asked to submit a `match fitness' report on Sachin Tendulkar by Sunday (October 24). The third Test of the TVS Cup for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starts at Nagpur on Tuesday. "Tendulkar will not be asked to undergo a test before Sunday,'' said the BCCI Hon. Secretary, S. Karunakaran Nair. Talking to the The Hindu, Tendulkar said he had a knock for 12 minutes on Tuesday and staggered sessions of 15 minutes each on Wednesday morning at the MIG Club, Bandra. He faced only spin bowlers. "I just had a knock. That's it. I don't want to rush through. I am regaining strength though," said Tendulkar. "I am doing things step by step and I will have to keep my fingers crossed about playing in the Nagpur Test," he said. Meanwhile, Tendulkar also inaugurated `Sachin's' a café in the northern suburb of Mulund. The restaurant, situated at a shopping mall, is targeted at the middle class unlike his first foray, `Tendulkar's' which is more upmarket. Our Special Correspondent
