Corporation Bank revises FCNR (B) rates

MANGALORE: Corporation Bank has revised the interest rates offered on FCNR (B) deposits with effect from October 20, a release said. The interest rate on dollar deposits, for a tenure of one year and to less than two years is 2.16 per cent per annum (earlier 2.29 per cent) and for two years to less than three years 2.60 per cent (2.83 per cent). The rate for three years only is 2.93 per cent (3.20 per cent). The interest rates offered on the euro have also been revised and on deposits for one year to less than two years, the rate is 2.05 per cent (2.11 per cent), for two years and less than three years 2.36 per cent (2.49 per cent) while that for three years only it is 2.62 per cent (2.76 per cent). The interest rate on pound sterling deposits of one year to less than two years is 4.79 per cent (4.84 per cent), for two years to less than three years and three years only are: 4.76 per cent (4.81 per cent) and 4.77 per cent (4.85 per cent) respectively. The interest rates on RFC deposits are also revised accordingly. — Our Staff Correspondent
