UDUPI, OCT. 20. A girl was killed in a road accident at Kokkarne in Brahmavar Police Station limits on Wednesday. According to the Brahmavar Police, Gopal was taking his daughters, Sahana, aged nine and a class 3 student of Higher Primary School, and Spandana, on a bicycle from Brahmavar to Kokkarne. A bus hit the cycle from the rear. The three of them fell down. Sahana died on the way to hospital. Gopal and Spandana, who suffered severe injuries, were rushed to a private hospital in Udupi where they are receiving treatment. A case has been filed, the police said.
