MANGALORE, OCT. 20. The Surathkal Police on Tuesday arrested three persons in connection with a dacoity case reported on the night of October 9. The police said the accused Veerendra Shetty of Konaje and Dinesh of Thumbay, wanted in dacoity cases at Suratkal and Thumbay in Bantwal Rural Police Station limits, have been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. The third accused in the Surathkal case, Ganesh, is in police custody at District Government Wenlock Hospital. Efforts were on to nab Majdu, Roshan and Nawaz. While the first two are wanted in a case reported in Surathkal limits, Nawaz is wanted in a case in Bantwal Rural Police limits.
