Advisory group on foreign policy issues

NEW DELHI, OCT. 20. The External Affairs Minister, Natwar Singh, has constituted a policy advisory group to advise him on foreign policy issues. The group comprises scholars and experts, apart from the Foreign Secretary, Shyam Saran, and other senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs.

"The group, consisting of Muchkund Dubey, Chinmoy Gharekhan, Brahma Chellaney, G. Parthasarathy, Hamid Ansari and Vinod Grover, is expected to meet on a regular basis to deliberate on international issues and advise the Minister on international developments and the foreign policy options available to India," a Ministry statement said today.
