Two records broken

MADURAI, OCT. 21. Two new meet records were set on the second day of the three-day Madurai Kamaraj University inter-collegiate athletics meet here on Thursday.

M.S.S. Wakfboard College set a new meet record in men's 4x400m relay clocking 3:34.42s eclipsing its own record of 3:35.5s. The other record was set by K. Sathiya Priya of M.S.S. Wakfboard College in women's discus. She touched 35.9m to eclipse the 14-year-old record set by P. Chitra of Sarah Tucker College, Tirunelveli.
