Pradeep hits century

NEW DELHI, OCT. 21. Pradeep Kumar hit a fine century (111) as Delhi Transport Corporation defeated Delhi Development Authority by 60 runs in a Group I super elite match in the DDCA cricket league championship here.

Delhi Transport Corporation 226 for seven in 40 overs (Pradeep Kumar 111, Kulvinder Singh 58 n.o.) bt Delhi Development Authority 166 for nine in 40 overs (Sunil Tyagi five for 24).

State Bank of India 219 for eight in 40 overs (Pankaj Kaushik 55, Ravinder Bhandari 47) bt Pusa Youngsters 216 in 39.5 overs (Damanjeet 51).

Syndicate Bank 242 for two in 38 overs (Mukesh Yadav 78, Vikram Kumar 54 n.o., Gautam Sharma 51 n.o., Ajit Singh 40) bt Bank of India 155 in 37.5 overs (Manish Arora 45, Gautam Sharma four for 35).

Telefunken Club 238 in 38.3 overs (Devender Awana 63) lost to RCN 239 for five in 37.1 overs (Firasat Hussain 67, Akash Kumar 49, Ashwani Sharma 44).
