Easy win for Karavali Cricketers

MYSORE, OCT. 24. Karavali Cricketers registered a facile 79-run win over Mysore Cricket Club in the KSCA Mysore Zonal second division league encounter played at the Gangotri grounds here on Sunday.

The scores: (Second Division): Karavali Cricketers 254 for nine decl. in 44 overs ( N. Subramanyam 67, Jyothiprakash 44, Prithviraj four for 85) bt Mysore Cricket Club 175 in 41.3 overs ( Madhu 40, A.Manush four for 69, Altaf Ahmed four for 20).

Third Division: Lucky Boys CC (N'gud) 135 in 20.1 overs (G. Gurumanjesha 41, J. Chandrashekar five for 50) lost to SGKM 139 for four in 16.2 overs (C.K. Chandrashekar 44 n.o.).
