JD(U) rebels dare party leaders to dismiss them

RANCHI, OCT. 24. Rebel Janata Dal (U) legislators in Jharkhand today dared the party leadership to dismiss them as they termed the party's state unit as `pocket organisation' of its president Inder Singh Namdhari and alleged that he was least interested in people's issues.

``The party is in doldrums in Jharkhand after Namdhari took over and made it his pocket organisation. It is unfortunate that even Nitish Kumar is on record saying Namdhari is JD(U) and JD(U) is Namdhari,'' party's senior leaders and MLAs Lal Chand Mahto and Ramesh Singh Munda told reporters here. ``We are seriously thinking of our next course of action after our Jharkhand Bacchao Sangharsh Morcha (JBSM) rally on October 27. Another MLA, Baijnath Ram, has also given moral support for our cause,'' Munda, the Morcha's convenor, said. - PTI
