BE classes to begin on Monday

TUMKUR, OCT. 24. Two institutes of technology here will begin the first semester BE classes for 2004-05 on Monday.

Lawrence Jenkins, Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will inaugurate the classes at the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology.

S.P. Singh, member-secretary of the All India Council for Technical Education, South Western Region, will inaugurate the classes at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, according to press releases from the institutes.
