Letters to the Editor
Sir, L.K. Advani's criticism of the talks between the Andhra Pradesh Government and the naxalites is unwarranted. Mr. Advani was the one who took out a rath yatra and polarised the voters to gain power. The same Mr. Advani looked the other way when Gujarat was burning. Now, when an attempt is on at making peace, he is crying foul.
Hameeduddin Khwaja,
* * * Sir, The Andhra Pradesh Government should first take action to disband the crack groups set up to hunt the naxalites. It would then be easier for the naxalites to think of laying down arms.
