YSR annoyed
HYDERABAD,
OCT. 25.
The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has directed marketing officials to evolve a mechanism to inform farmers about arrivals in market yards to prevent the glut.
Dr. Reddy who was annoyed over reports of fall in tomato prices summoned officials on Monday. Farmers were entitled to know the arrivals' position in market yards and the information must be updated constantly. He asked officials to explore possibilities of establishing fruit processing units to help tomato ryots.
