`Filling of 3,000 vacancies in schools will take some time'

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 25.
The School Education Minister, N. Rajyalakshmi, has said it may take at least a month to start the process of appointments to about 3,000 vacancies in Government schools.
Chairing a meeting on DSC appointments here on Monday, she said the Government would take opinion of the Law Department to lay down the norms and criteria on qualifications on these appointments.
After receiving advice from the department, the matter would be discussed with the Chief Minister before a final decision was taken. Some of these appointments have been pending since 1992.
