LUCKNOW, OCT. 26. It comes easy for Srajan to recite `Madhushala', the literary masterpiece of poet Harivanshrai Bachchan in chaste Hindi. Nothing extraordinary about it except that Srajan is only three-year-old and his achievement has fetched him a place in `National Book of Honours'. After coming to know about the prodigy, star of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan invited him to Mumbai. ``I am glad to know that your son is able to recite my father's `Madhushala,'' he wrote in a letter to Srajan's father K K Shukla. Born to a teacher couple, Srajan had started picking up poems from `Madhushala' in bits and pieces when he was only two. ``At times we used to read aloud Madhushala...perhaps this evoked his interest in the masterpiece,'' claims his mother Sudha, who is a lecturer in the Lucknow University. - UNI
