CHENNAI,
OCT. 27.
A 60-run stand for the last wicket between the top scorer M.R. Shrinivas (63 not out) and R. Raghuram (22) helped City XI to reach 217 against District XI on the opening day of the C.P. Ramaswamy Iyer shield seniors match at the MAC stadium on Wednesday.
The scores: City XI 217 in 73.5 overs (S. Badrinath 45, M.R. Shrinivas 63 not out, M.K. Sivakumar four for 63, Devendran four for 43) v Districs XI 24 for no loss in 9 overs.
